II. Discussed registration process for student organizations
POST MEETING: Brittany Mashel checked with the Office of Engagement regarding a LionsGate
account for BGS. She was told that BGS is not registered with student activities & will not be unable to use Lion's Gate for this year but it is listed here:

Brittany is a junior, and can ensure the transition into next year for registration with as an
approved student organization
III. BGS Global Leadership Forum in Orlando, Nov. 5-8.
As an Exemplary Chapter, we receive 1 free registration. This was extended to 2 registrations if
there was interest, but only 1 member was interested at application deadline
Dean Keep will reimburse travel expenses
IV. Discussed Dean Keep’s community service requirement for Business student organizations, and the
possibility of raising funds for a bronze BGS key.

II. 2014-2015 Programming Possibilities:
A. Dean Keep is looking into creating a new annual spring event, similar in scope to the JP Morgan event but not specific to finance, and he asked BGS to sponsor this program.
B. Networking with BGS alumni
- Dr. Neves will reach out to former members, to assess interest
- Consider a drive to raise funding towards installation of "BGS Key"- Kristen will explore
- ANNOUNCEMENT POST MEETING: School of Business Alumni Chapter is hosting a Homecoming tent on October 25th, this is a great opportunity to connect with alumni. This will be discussed at the 9/17 BSAB meeting.
C. Organize a community service project (Dean's Requirement)- suggestions:
- Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK)- volunteers welcome to serve food or to offer training- Tracy, Amber & Kendra will explore options
- TCNJ Program working with prisoners studying for GREs
- Dress for Success collection drive- Jenna, Karen, Wambui, & Kristen will explore options
(Patty has contact info from Fall 2013: Lorrie Klaric, Executive Director, Dress for Success Mercer County; 3131 Princeton Pike (Building 4, Suite 209), Lawrenceville, NJ 08648; 609-896-4112)
- Homefront- conducts Thanksgiving drive for local residents in need. Kendra & Elizabeth will contact Dining Services regarding placing collection bins in dining halls, and explore other options. Make BGS members were charged with supporting this campaign.

IV. Info Session for prospective new members – need committee to organize & run.
A. The Info Session will be on Wed., March 19, at 5pm in BB 106. Pizza will be served at 5:45 in the BBL, preceding the Dean’s 3rd Wednesday Program on Personal Finance.
B. 42 students are eligible to join BGS. The invitation will be mailed to their homes over spring break. They will also receive an e-mail at this time with information about the Info Session.

a. A second email, reminding seniors to vote, will be sent out on April 1st.
b. The Senior Exit Exam, taking place on April 10th, will be the last opportunity for seniors to vote. Paper ballots will be available on this day.
c. A committee of BGS members will look at the results of voting and make a final decision on award recipients.
II. The information session for new BGS members will be held on March 20th.
a. The RSVP to join BGS is due by March 25th.
b. The deadline to submit BGS scholarship applications is March 27th. Eligible applicants include rising seniors and current seniors who are immediately moving on to graduate school.
c. A decision on scholarship winners will be made by April 8th.
d. The induction ceremony for new members will be held on April 14th.
III. The first BGS meeting that will include new inductees will be held on April 17th, and will be immediately followed by the Dean’s Third Wednesday program, which BGS is sponsoring.

I. Discussed Service Project – “T.C.N.J. – Taking Care of New Jersey”
Beta Gamma Sigma will be providing hot Thanksgiving meals to those affected by Hurricane Sandy. We are asking that every business student donate $1 in order to fund this meal. We will be starting collections on Monday, November 12 and end on Friday, November 16. All funds collected from students, faculty, and The School of Business will be given to Sodexho, who has partnered with us to prepare all meals on Tuesday, November 20th. We are kindly asking for teachers’
help in the collection process. We are asking that they announce our service project in each class, ask their students if they would like to donate, and pass this envelope around.
Jennifer Green is creating flyers and reaching out to shelters willing to accept donations.
Chelsea Tompkins is reaching out to Sodexho to form the partnership.
Gina Holzheimer is reaching out to teachers to notify them of our efforts.
John Vanore and Matt Carlson are ensuring that teachers receive collection envelopes.
